Application

Translator is an intelligent unit, which is designed to cope up the requirements of converting one protocol to other .Two high speed serial ports (RS 232C) are implemented to convert one database to another database in very short period. The two serial ports are named as slave and master for end user convenience. The serial parameters for both master and slave are programmable through front panel DIPswitches for station address, parity and baud rate settings. This makes translator a versatile unit in SCADA or DCS or BMS to hook up all the available units on the shop floor on one single bus.
